Passionate and result-oriented Mechanical Engineer, I am working at Rehab Technologies to build innovative mechatronic devices with a high level of technology and strongly focused on the needs of the patients.
The group I am leading, the FeatherEXO team, is focused on the development of an innovative lower limb exoskeleton, to assist different types of locomotive deficiency, with a soft and light approach that is promising for a large variety of users.
I am also leading the Omnia - lower limb prosthesis group: our team has designed a novel active knee prostheses (Unico), based on hydraulic and electric technologies, and one micro controlled ankle prosthesis (Armonico), able to make the step more comfortable and safer for the user.
During my previous experience I worked in the Twin - Lower Limb Exoskeleton team (Rehab Technologies), designing the second revision of the device, and leading the mechanical team of the project.
Moreover, as a mechanical technologist, I designed the hand prosthesis Hannes (Rehab Technologies), with a specific focus on the fingers and the wrist.
Before the IIT experience, I worked in the Italian Institute of Welding (IIS) as a structural engineer, specialized in welded components and metals study.
I got my Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Genoa, with a stage experience at the CERN scientific center.
