About

Antonio Qualtieri joined the IIT as PostDoc of the Center for Biomolecular Nanotechnologies (CBN) of the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) in 2009, to work on the development and fabrication of micro electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) for biological applications. On January 2016 he became a senior technician of CBN@Unile.

He graduated in Materials Engineering at the University of Lecce in 2005, with a degree thesis about Photonic Crystals based Ramdon Laser devices.

He obtained his PhD Diploma in Nanoscience at the University of Salento on June 2009.

During his PhD research, he was involved in the realization of photonic devices based on colloidal semiconductor quantum dots.
