Luciana Algieri was born on May 31th in Cosenza (CS). She received her bachelor degree in Chemistry from the University of Calabria (A.A 2007/2008) with thesis work on “Synthesis and X-ray characterization of complexes of Fe (II) and Fe (III)”.
She received a Master degree in Chemistry (A.A 2011/2012) from the University of Calabria discussing a thesis work about “Synthesis and characterization of complexes cyclometalated Ir (III) containing 3,5-disubstituted-2- (2'-pyridyl) pyrrole”.
She worked from March 2013 to December 2014 as researcher with expertise in synthesis of materials and realization of devices, at the Research Center ENEA (Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development) of Brindisi.
Since December 2014 she's a PhD student of the Robotics Platform at the Center for Biomolecular Nanotechnologies of IIT@UNILE.
