Notte dei Ricercatori 2017
This year the “Notte dei Ricercatori 2017” event, also known in Europe as “European Researchers’ Night 2017”, will be next September, 29th Friday at Ex Monastero degli Olivetani in Lecce (Viale S. Nicola, 73100 Lecce LE). La “Notte dei Ricercatori” (#ERN17) is a public event devoted to “popular science and fun learning”. As in our tradition, Centre for Biomolecular Nanotechnologies (cbn.iit.it) will have its tables, sharing our researches activities.
We are willing to meet people, communicate our work, and have a nice chance to know each other activities.
The Center for Biomolecular Nanotechnologies, established in 2009, develops materials and devices at the micro and nanoscale for enabling technologies for the human body, fostering real time monitoring of health, wellness and sport performance, new assays and tools for nanomedicine and new technologies for renewable energy harvesting and saving.
We are delight to share with you the following activities and have fun with it:
We are delight to share with you the following activities and have fun with it:
- Photoelectrochemical systems for solar energy conversion and accumulation (Giulia Veramonti) We will show small, organic, electro-chromic and photovoltachromic devices and their operation.
- Wearable and edible techniques: Techniques of preparation of edible device for gastrointestinal tract exploration (Leonardo Lamanna,Elisa Scarpa,Elisa Sciurti,Lara Natta) We will show a small example of preparation of edible technology for hydrogel-based devices.
- Laser beams and light waves for neuroscience (Elisa Bellistri,Barbara Spagnolo) We will perform some interactive experiments using both lasers and light bulbs, showing the properties of propagation, reflection and refraction of light waves.
- Model and display the physics below the nanometer (Vittoria Urso) We will install a multimedia site that will allow 3D visualization of molecules and nanometer systems computed with advanced computing algorithms.
