2012 – to date

Post Doctoral Researcher at Center for Biomolecular Nanotechnology (CBN) of the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT), Energy Platform.

Independent research into new materials solar-cell technology. Main task: Conception and Optoelectronic characterization of innovative photovoltaic devices.


Energy Consultant for Progetto Continenti (International Non-Governmental Organization). Project design and implementation, with a focus on renewable energies utilization, for PC, in Myanmar and Cambodia.

2009 – 2011

Associated Researcher at the Imperial College of London. Main Task: Photoelectrochemical characterization of Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSCs) focussing on the photoinduced processes dynamics.

2006 – 2008

PhD Student, Molecular Photoscience Group – CNR, Bologna. Main Task: Design and photophysical investigations on new photoactive systems performing photoinduced processes.
