ALESSANDRO DI GIROLAMO holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Bologna and a PhD in Nanochemistry from the University of Genoa and the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT). Currently, he is a Postdoctoral Researcher at IIT, working across the Multifunctional Neural Interfaces and the Nanomaterials for Biomedical Applications groups. His research primarily focuses on the development of functional inorganic nanoparticles for multimodal therapeutic and diagnostic applications targeting cancer cells.
