About

Padmalochan Panda holds a Ph.D. in Physical Science from Homi Bhabha National Institute, Mumbai, India, where he conducted research on the "Synthesis and characterization of pristine and doped (Ti and Cr) AlN thin films." From 2021 to 2023, he served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT-Bombay), focusing on the fabrication and characterization of ZnO and AlN-based high-overtone bulk acoustic resonators (HBAR), Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) resonators, and solidly mounted resonators (SMR) for RF filter and biosensor applications. He is continuing his postdoctoral research at the Italian Institute of Technology, beginning in February 2024, on a project titled "AlN-based piezoelectric bio-interfaces for smart healthcare technologies and applications."
